Try Hockey for FREE

Try Hockey for Free event is designed to provide kids ages 4 to 9 the opportunity to try hockey in a FUN, safe environment with trained coaching staff.

No experience necessary! There will be plenty of assistance on hand to be sure your child has the best first hockey experience and answer any questions you might have.

Try Hockey for Free is offered at various times of the year. Traditionally once in the Fall and once in the Spring.

USA Hockey Number

Once your player completes their first Try Hockey for Free they will earn their first USA Hockey Number to be ready for the next recreation league play.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need gear?

Try Hockey for Free events provide players with loaner gear for the session. Your player will get geared up in the first 30 minutes of the session and return the gear after ice time.
