    Public Skating Returns Oct 2nd

    Public skate will resume Friday, October 2. Weekend hours are as follows:

    Friday 7:30-10 p.m.

    Saturday 1-3:30 p.m. & 7:30-10 p.m.

    Sunday 1-3:30 p.m.

     

    The Edge will also be open daily during Fall Break, 1-4 p.m.

    Admission tickets MUST be purchased online, in advance. Link is below. Admission with own skates is $4.50 per person. $2 Parent/Guardian non-skater fee

    STICK AND PUCK RETURNS TO THE EDGE

    The Edge Ice Center is once again offering Stick and Puck sessions. Because of Social Distancing Guidelines, attendees must register for the sessions they plan to attend. Go to Owensboroparks.org and click PROGRAMS. You will need to set up an account. Most of our parents will likely already be in their system from paying for drills in the last month or so. Once you login with your Household Name and email address you can do a search for ACTIVITIES. Then you would select the appropriate date, time, and age group and click on the Available button to add to their shopping cart. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER as they have a max of 10 skaters per session. Parents must register online no later than 10 a.m. the day-of. $7 per person. Ice will be monitored by Edge staff who will be monitoring the skaters as they practice drills. Scrimmage is NOT allowed. MAX 10 skaters per session to abide by 10:1 ratio of players:coaches.

    Starting this week:
    Thursdays 5-6 p.m. 12U only (through August)

    Starting Sunday, August 16
    Sundays, 6:15-7:15 p.m. 13-18 years
    Thursdays 5-6 p.m. 12U only
    Fridays, 4:45-5:45 p.m. 12U
    Fridays 5:45-6:45 p.m. 13-18 years

    Owensboro Youth Hockey is a USA Hockey affiliated program  providing recreational,  competitive travel hockey, and high school hockey in Western Kentucky.  Owensboro Youth Hockey is part of the Mid-AM district. The hockey program in Owensboro was founded in 1971 and is still going strong.
