House League

Experience competitive hockey at a recreational level with the Owensboro Youth Hockey Association's House League Program. House League is for all levels to learn and develop through practices and games during the winter months.

Jerseys are provided with registration.

Players are expected to wear the jerseys provided for the season. If they show up to a game without the correct jersey they will sit the bench that game.

Once registration is finished the size cannot be changed.

Loaner gear is available on select dates and a first come first serve basis.

All players must provide their own helmet and stick.

Practice and game times are tentative.

Fundraising Update - September 18, 2023

Are you choosing to raise funds? Below is what we are working on.

1. Sponsorship - Your player kind find a company to sponsor utilizing one of the four options and that will cover your players House League Fees. Please see below for more information.
2. Help Build a Hockey Player -- Attached below is a fundraising option for family and friends to sponsor your player. This is like the calendar fundraisers various organizations complete, but with a twist! Copy the image and use to help get your players season sponsored. Each piece of gear is $20.
3. Chicken Cook - We are currently waiting on a cook date. By choosing fundraise your player will be expected to sale chickens and donate your time to help cook that date.
4. Laundry Detergent Sales - This is another option we are looking into as a fundraiser.

Refunds.

Refund request is required in writing to the current treasurer up to 24 hours prior to the first House League event for that season.  

No refunds after the first event of that House League Season.

I would like to coach, do I need to be able to skate?

There is no requirement to skate.
